Video: Damante’s Opening Goal From Steel City Win

Columbus Eagles FC midfielder Samantha Damante scored her first goal as an Eagle in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Steel City FC. Damante’s goal came in the 47th minute at the end of a great attacking move by Columbus, full of one-touch passes. 

Dani Gunderson got the assist for the Eagles, which finished the road season unbeaten (2-0-2) and climbed to a second-place finish in the WPSL’s Valley division.
