Columbus Eagles FC traveled to Pittsburgh Sunday to play Steel City FC and left with all three points in a 2-1 win. Samantha Damante and Kelly DeNiro scored for Columbus, which finished the WPSL season 5-1-2 and in second place in the Valley division.

The club set records for goals, points, wins, and fewest goals against en route to the club’s best-ever league finish. Only Cleveland Ambassadors – the division’s winner – were better than the Eagles in 2018. Columbus was the only team in the division to take points from Cleveland in 2018.
