Columbus Eagles FC has announced its 20-woman matchday roster for its match with FC Pride of Indianapolis on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Mount Vernon High School. The club has passed the midway point of its WPSL season and sits tied for second in the Valley division.

The team’s roster includes a few changes from the Eagles’ 1-0 loss to Motor City FC last Sunday. Samantha Damante returns to the lineup, as does defender Kate Prewitt. The rest of Columbus’s roster is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Hannah Sargent, Kassandra Young

Defenders: Summer Bourcier, Monique Hanayik, Amber Kern,  Megan Minnix, Adison Preston, Kate Prewitt

Midfielders: Alexa Cheripko, Samantha Damante, Kelly DeNiro, Ashley Gogolin, Allison Harbart, Hanna Marks, Lisa Nouanesengsy, Larissa Najjar, Micaela Powers, Lila Remache

Forwards: Erin Brockway, Rachel MacLeod

Dani Gunderson – a 2017 WPSL All-Star – is unavailable for the match. In 2017, the Eagles and FC Pride split the season series, with each team winning on home turf. Pride won its opening match of this season, 4-0, over Steel City FC of Pittsburgh.

The Eagles return home June 16 to play Empire United of Rochester in a match designated as “Save The Crew” night. Kickoff for that match is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Otterbein University’s Memorial Stadium. Tickets are on sale now for $10 and will be the same price on matchday at the gate.
