For the second year in a row, Columbus Eagles FC will stream the majority of its home matches to social media platforms. EagleTV, launched in 2017, will broadcast at least six Eagles matches in 2018.

Last season, Eagles fans flocked to watch the team on the club’s website, Facebook, or YouTube. Those will all remain options to watch the Eagles live in 2018.

The first EagleTV broadcast airs on April 14 at 7 p.m., when the Eagles play Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the team’s second preseason match. The full streaming schedule is as follows:

  • April 14 vs. Mount Vernon Nazarene University
  • April 22 at Ohio Dominican University
  • May 12 vs. Ann Arbor FC
  • June 3 vs. Motor City FC
  • June 16 vs. Empire United
  • June 30 vs. Indy Saints FC

The schedule is subject to change. Other matches could potentially be added throughout the season as well. Eagles media director Grant Burkhardt will once again be the team’s broadcaster. A co-commentator will be named at a later date.

EagleTV Expansion

Last season, EagleTV brought in more than 22,000 video views across all Eagles platforms. In 2018, the club plans to expand its video production team and output and is looking for sponsors to help make that happen.
