Prior to its 2-0 win over Ann Arbor on Saturday, Columbus Eagles FC made eight more roster additions to its 2018 WPSL squad. The additions take the Eagles’ roster to a total of 25 – the club can card 30 on its league roster. On May 4, the club announced its first wave of 17 rostered players.

The latest group of rostered players includes tenured Eagles players like midfielder Erin Brockway (who’s healthy after suffering a wrist injury early in 2018), defender Kate Prewitt, and former captain Mary Seiffert, who will join Indiana Wesleyan University’s coaching staff in the fall.

Rian Reid, who just finished her freshman year at Wright State University and scored the Eagles’ winning goal in Saturday’s match against AAFC Lumberjills, is also in this wave of roster adds.

All eight additions to the Eagles’ roster:

Goalkeepers: Kassandra Young (Lakeview, Minn.)

Defenders: Adison Preston (Westerville, Ohio), Kate Prewitt (Pickerington, Ohio)

Midfielders: Erin Brockway (Ashland, Ohio), Ellie Gavin (Columbus, Ohio), Mary Seiffert (Grand Haven, Mich.)

Forwards: Rian Reid (Worthington, Ohio), Hanna Marks (Harrison City, Pa.)

The Eagles return to action Saturday when they play Cincinnati Sirens FC on the road. Kickoff at West Lakota High School is scheduled for 5 p.m. The club returns home June 3 to play Motor City FC at Otterbein University. Tickets for the 7 p.m. start on June 3 are $10 and are available online now.
