Eagles Announce Matchday Roster for Trip to Cincinnati

Columbus Eagles FC has announced its 19-woman matchday roster for the club’s trip to play Cincinnati Sirens FC on Saturday. Kickoff at West Lakota High School is scheduled for 5 p.m. With inclement weather possible, stay tuned to the club’s social media channels for updates.
Columbus started the WPSL season on a high note last weekend by beating AAFC Lumberjills 2-0 to go top of the Valley division table. Rian Reid and Lisa Nouanesengsy scored the goals for the Eagles.
Here’s the club’s full roster for Saturday’s WPSL clash:
Goalkeepers: Hannah Sargent
Defenders: Summer Bourcier, Monique Hanayik, Amber Kern, Megan Minnix, Adison Preston
Midfielders: Alexa Cheripko, Kelly DeNiro, Ellie Gavin, Ashley Gogolin, Hanna Marks, Larissa Najjar, Lisa Nouanesengsy, Micaela Powers, Mary Seiffert
Forwards: Erin Brockway, Dani Gunderson, Lila Remache, Eryn Weber
Erin Brockway returns to the Eagles lineup for the first time in 2018 after recovering from a wrist injury. Hanna Marks makes the Eagles roster for the first time. Rian Reid and Rachel MacLeod are unavailable to play Saturday.
The Eagles will provide live updates to their social media pages during the match. The team returns home June 3 to play Motor City FC at Otterbein University. Kickoff for that Sunday match is scheduled for 7 p.m. and tickets are on sale now.
