Amber Kern, the captain of the Eagles, returns for another season with the club! Kern was named a 2017 WPSL All-Star, scored the match-winning goal in Columbus’s 2-1 win over Ohio Dominican University in the 2018 preseason, and is one of the longest-tenured players on the Eagles’ roster.
Kern played her college soccer at the University of Akron – with Eagles’ midfielder Kelly DeNiro – and was a standout forward at Dublin Coffman High School in the Columbus, Ohio, area.
