Where are Eagles home matches played?

The Eagles play the majority of their home matches at Otterbein University’s Memorial Stadium in Westerville, Ohio. There, the parking is free and the scenery is beautiful.

How many matches do the Eagles normally play in a season? How many at home?

The Eagles have averaged 12 total matches per season for the past three years. The club averages 8 home matches each year, plus indoor matches in the fall and winter months. In 2018, we lost just once at home and surrendered only two goals at home in all competitions.

How do season memberships work?

Our season members (or season ticket holders, to look at it another way) get access to every Eagles home match in that calendar year. A 2018 Eagles membership is good for any event listed as a “home event” by the team, including preseason friendlies, indoor matches, and league matches, too.

In 2019 there are four membership tiers:

  • At the Individual level, your membership is good for you (and only you, you soccer-supporter you).
  • At the Friend level, you can bring a friend to each Eagles home event for no extra charge (it can be a different friend each time!).
  • At the Family level, you and your entire immediate family get access to every Eagles home event. We’re flexible with what “immediate family” means, but we tend to limit the number of family members, including the membership holder, to six.
  • New in 2019 is our Community level – a $50 membership for those who want to support the club from afar or don’t think they’ll attend any home matches. We’ll donate your tickets to local organizations like Moms2B and the money will help us achieve our goals in the community.

If the club hosts a Marquee event (such as a match at MAPFRE Stadium, for example), your membership might not cover the full fee. Members will however receive a discounted ticket price. In 2017, members got $10 off each ticket to our match at the home of Columbus Crew SC. That ticket was good for entrance to our match and the Crew’s match later that night. Pretty good deal, huh?

In what league to the Eagles play?

Columbus is a part of the Women’s Premier Soccer League, the largest and longest-running women’s soccer league in the country. There are over 100 teams in the WPSL, ranging from California to New England. The Eagles are entering their sixth WPSL season in 2019.

How much are single-match tickets?

A ticket to any one home match are $10 and will stay that way for the foreseeable future. Our indoor friendlies have been $5 in the past. All of these matches are included if you become a season member!

Are my single-match tickets good for any match?

For the most part, yes! Your ticket is good for entrance to any of our home matches, except those designated as “Marquee”. Our match at MAPFRE Stadium in 2017, for example, was a Marquee Event and a Marquee Win.

How about young children? Do they need a ticket?

Any young soccer fan 6 years old and younger can get into any Eagles home match for free, provided they come with a parent or guardian, of course!

Do you offer a discount if I bring a group?

Oh, absolutely! Get in touch with us by emailing groupsales@columbuseaglesfc.com. Our sales team will take care of your group or organization.

Can my youth team be matchday ball kids or walk out with the team for intros?

We’re happy you asked! Yes! We are looking now for groups of future soccer stars who want to volunteer as ball retrievers on matchday, see the game up close, and walk out with the Eagles during introductions. Get in touch with us at info@columbuseaglesfc.com.
