Eagles Set Season Membership Record (Again!)

Once again, the supporters of Columbus Eagles FC have shown up in record numbers. The Eagles are proud and thrilled to announce that for the second consecutive year, the club has broken its season membership record. The mark comes with a full month to go until the WPSL season starts (May 11 at Ann Arbor).

In 2018, the Eagles broke club records for season memberships, overall attendance, and single-match attendance. The season membership record being broken again is proof that the Eagles continue to grow behind amazing local support.

Season memberships are still on sale today and guarantee you at least six more home matches in 2019! In addition to match tickets, season members receive the best perks package in Eagles history: 10% off all jerseys and merchandise, 10% off our soccer camp with Celtic FC, an invitation to our advisory board, and more.

Season memberships for 2019 went on sale in the fall at four levels: Individual, Friend, Family, and the new Community tier. The Family tier – where Eagles fans can bring their entire immediate family to every Eagles home match for $100 – continues to be the most popular level of membership.

Since 2019 memberships went on sale, the club has announced its international partnership with Celtic Football Club (including a youth soccer camp!) and a Youth Affiliate Program to share our resources with the community. The Eagles have also completely rebranded, relaunched the values of the club, and designed new matchday kits and merchandise in-house. It’s a busy, exciting time for the Columbus soccer community and for the Eagles inside of it.

Columbus has one more home preseason match remaining (this Sunday against Otterbein at 6 p.m.) before the WPSL season begins. The club’s home WPSL opener is Sunday, May 19 at against Cincinnati Sirens FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Otterbein’s Memorial Stadium, and tickets are on sale now for $10. As always, children ages 6 and younger get in for free!
