Mark Wise – Chief Executive Officer

Using his 20-plus years of coaching experience, Mark has built the Eagles from the ground up and runs day-to-day operations of the club. On top of his duties with CEFC, he is the head girl’s soccer coach at Westerville South High School. Mark holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National B coaching license, a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Advanced National Diploma and a NSCAA goalkeeping I Diploma.

Eagles head coach Daniel Seiffert

Daniel Seiffert – Head Coach

Daniel was recently named CEFC’s head coach, starting in 2018. In Daniel’s first year with the Eagles (2017), the club took huge strides on and off the pitch. Earlier in 2017, he earned his USSF “A” coaching license, the second-highest license given out by U.S. Soccer. He also holds a NSCAA Premier Diploma and has obtained a NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Outside of his work with the Eagles, he has been the head women’s coach at Mount Vernon Nazarene University for nine seasons.

Michael Flynn – Goalkeeping Coach

Michael came to the Eagles in 2017 after playing professionally as a goalkeeper in the USL and PDL. He also played his college soccer at the University of Cincinnati and is the Director of Goalkeeping for Wright State University’s men’s soccer team.

Eagles Director of Operations Kalie Mascarello

Kalie Mascarello – Director of Matchday Operations

Kalie joined the Eagles in Dec. 2017 and will manage the club’s staff and fan experience at our home matches, among many other things. She has extensive experience as a facility operations staff member at Ohio University and with Columbus Crew SC.

Kalie is set to graduate from Ohio State University in 2018 with a degree in sports management.

Monique Hanayik – Director of Camps

Monique joined the Eagles in 2017 and made an immediate impact on the pitch, starting in 11 of the club’s 13 matches. In addition to her defensive prowess, the Capital University graduate has taken the responsibility of organizing and coordinating the team’s many youth skills clinics throughout the year.

Eagles media director and broadcaster Grant Burkhardt

Grant Burkhardt – Media Director & Broadcaster

Grant joined the Eagles before the 2017 season and oversaw the live-streaming of six Eagles home matches throughout the season. He designs graphics and writes the club’s social media posts and is the play-by-play voice of the team’s live matches on Facebook and YouTube.

Grant is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and the Global Business School of Barcelona. He’s also a freelance podcaster in the Columbus area.

Jeff Schaffer is the Eagles first-ever Video Director

Jeff Schaffer – Director of Video

Jeff comes to the Eagles from a career in local television sports reporting in Ohio, Texas, and Michigan. The Ohio University graduate is the club’s first-ever Video Director, and will produce content for the Eagles’ social media pages, website, and YouTube channel.

Tayla Davis joins the Eagles as the club's first brand journalist | Daniel Herlensky

Tayla Davis – Brand Journalist

Tayla comes highly recommended: She is a reporter for the Big Ten Network’s “Student U” program and covers Ohio State University sports for The Lantern. She also previously interned with Columbus Crew SC. The Ohio State University sophomore will be the on-camera personality of the Eagles, recording promotional material and interviews with coaches and players.
