Columbus Eagles FC has announced its 20-woman roster for Saturday’s WPSL match against Indy Saints FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Otterbein University’s Memorial Stadium (135 Center St., Westerville, Ohio 43081) and tickets are on sale now for $10 each.
Three of the Eagles’ 2017 league All-Stars – Dani Gunderson, Amber Kern, and Lisa Nouanesengsy – are in the lineup for the match, which is the club’s home finale for 2018. The team finishes league play on July 8 with a road contest against Steel City FC of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Saturday’s full roster is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Hannah Sargent, Jenna Villacres
Defenders: Summer Bourcier, Monique Hanayik, Hadley Jones, Amber Kern, Megan Minnix, Adison Preston
Midfielders: Samantha Damante, Ashley Gogolin, Allison Harbart, Hanna Marks, Lisa Nouanesengsy, Larissa Najjar, Lila Remache, Mary Seiffert
Forwards: Erin Brockway, Ellie Gavin, Dani Gunderson, Rachel MacLeod
Eagles’ midfielders Kelly DeNiro and Micaela Powers are unavailable to play in Saturday’s match. Jenna Villacres – the team’s youngest player and a soon-to-be senior at Westerville South High School – makes a WPSL roster for the first time as an Eagle.
