Columbus Eagles FC will play an eight-match league schedule in the Women’s Premier Soccer League, the club and league announced Thursday. As a part of the Valley division, the Eagles will play four WPSL matches at home and four matches away.

Single-match tickets are on sale now through the club’s schedule page. Season ticket packages start at just $25, and you can bring your entire immediate family for $75.

The league season starts with a home match against Ann Arbor FC on May 12. The teams will play that match at Otterbein University, the Eagles’ home field. Last season, Columbus won its home league opener 2-1 against Dayton Dutch Lions.

In mid-June, the Eagles play two matches away from home against Cincinnati Sirens FC and Cleveland Ambassadors. Then the club returns home to host Motor City FC (Detroit) on June 3. The team goes to Indianapolis to play FC Pride the following weekend before hosting Empire United at Otterbein on June 16.

The home season concludes on June 30 against Indy Saints FC at a venue to be determined soon. CEFC’s league schedule finishes with a trip to Pittsburgh to play Steel City FC on July 8.

The eight-match WPSL season kicks off after the club plays three preseason matches in April. All seven home events are included in any Eagles membership.

After the best season in club history, Columbus’s women’s soccer team returns to the field in 2018 with renewed vigor. CEFC appointed Daniel Seiffert as head coach during the winter. Kelly DeNiro and captain Mary Seiffert led the team to a win over Cincinnati in an indoor friendly in December in front of a record crowd. The club renewed its partnership with Mount Carmel Health and partnered with Moms2B to help lower the infant mortality rate in central Ohio.

The Eagles continue to grow, and there will be plenty more news to come before the 2018 season starts. CEFC’s mission is to bring the highest-level women’s soccer to Columbus and to give back to the community. The ultimate goal of the club still stands: The Eagles want to bring professional women’s soccer to Columbus.

Be a part of the Eagles’ evolution and become a season member. The club is nearing a record number of season tickets sold, and it’s only February! There’s never been a more exciting time to be an Eagles fan, and we hope you join us for 2018.
